Thomas and Erika photographed our wedding down in Houston this last weekend. They are a wonderful young couple who have a very fun attitude and really take the stress out of photography. I'm typically camera shy and Erika did a wonderful job putting me at ease for the bridals that we shot prior to the ceremony. Their specialty is nighttime photography and they took some really amazing shots of us on the roof of the Magnolia Hotel with the lights of Houston behind and below us. We were so lucky to find them - they were totally on top of the reception and captured all of our guests having a wonderful time! These two documented our special day in a wonderful way and we would recommend them to any other couple - if any of your plans include an evening, outdoor setting, or even a cool place near where your wedding will take place, you won't find a better pair to create romantic, artistic memories of your wedding! "Thomas & Erika were amazing. They did our engagements, my bridals, & wedding day pictures. We also had a photo booth at our wedding through them which was a big hit! They worked with my schedule, and made everything so easy. There's something different about their prints as well, they turn out amazing & unlike anything I've seen before. "I speak for my husband and myself when I say that we ABSOLUTELY loved working with Thomas and Erika and could not have been more pleased our choice of photographers. The most important part to my wedding, was the photography. I searched for MONTHS for the perfect photographer and was incredibly overwhelmed trying to find a style that suited us. I was soooo relieved when we finally met Tommy and Erika. They really cared to get to know the couple and better understand what they were looking for in their pictures. I have seen all of their photo sessions and every single one is completely different and specific to the couple. I LOVED my pictures and enjoyed every photo session we had. It takes a brilliant photographer to be able to shoot in my church. The lighting is poor and they had to stand in the balcony. Yet, I look at my ceremony pictures and can see every expression on husbands face. They were still able to manage close ups at the front of the church. "Getting ready to do my bridal photos[...] I wanted things to be perfect...of course :) My first conversation with Thomas was actually over the phone because I live out of town. I sent him an email actually but what made me know I could rely on him was the fact he not only emailed me back but called me too! That was step one knowing I made a good decision. I also had friend use him at her wedding and she could not stop talking about how wonderful he was. Boy was she right. I felt comfortable to whole time and actually had fun smiling for hours taking my bridals. Thomas was so laid back, offered suggestions but also listened to me. He never once rushed me or made me feel like I was just one more client. Now for the amazing part. About 3 weeks earlier I was diagnosed with breast cancer so I probably was not the happiest I should have been on the day I was taking my bridals. However, when I told Thomas about my scares and what was going on he immediately started sharing his tough journey through cancer; and his success and triumph over [it]. The fact he would share his own personal story with a complete stranger[...] gave me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. [D]ue to my diagnosis my fiancé and I decided to get married a little earlier with just close family since we already had the [Kyle] field reserved (where I did my bridals). Thomas stayed!!!! He took pictures of our little impromptu wedding! I remember his exact words to this day: "I would be honored to stay." A complete stranger is "honored" to stay and work longer taking pictures of my wedding because he understood how much that day meant to me. Needless to say I did make a friend that day and Thomas has made it a point to send me emails every now and then letting me know the status on my pictures but more importantly he has continued to pray for me and offers his support. [...] I thank God every day for putting Thomas in my life with such a great success story! Thomas is by far a great man, a great friend, but MOST importantly...a GREAT, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, AWESOME photographer. And to those of you who are wondering....every single one of my photos turned out great, so great to the point I have been spending the last month trying to pick which ones I want!
